Reset Naturally

Naturopathy for gut, liver, hormone and mind.

Bloating, a fatty liver on a scan, a thyroid reading that won't settle, nights you can't sleep through. They look like four problems. In your body they're connected, so we treat them as one, with the oldest tools there are: food, water, sunlight, air and rest.

  • Usually 1 to 3 months
  • Alongside your current medicines
Sounds familiar?

Tap what's been bothering you.

Watch which of the four areas light up. Nothing is saved or sent.

Nothing tapped yet.

This isn't a diagnosis. It's a map of where your complaints tend to come from.

Why all four

Four problems, one conversation.

Your gut, liver, hormones and nervous system talk to each other all day. Tap a link in the circle to see how.

Gut to liver

Everything your gut absorbs goes to your liver first, through a vein called the portal vein. When digestion struggles, the liver gets more to deal with.

The four areas

What we look at, and what we use.

Everyone's plan covers all four. Where it starts depends on what's loudest for you.

A Kerala meal served on a banana leaf
Where most of it starts

Did you know? Most of the body's serotonin is made in the gut, not the brain.

Sounds familiar?

  • Gas and bloating after meals
  • Acidity or heartburn
  • Constipation, loose motions, or both
  • Heavy after rice
  • Foods that don't suit you any more

What's going on

Your gut is lined with its own network of nerve cells, sometimes called the second brain, and it carries trillions of bacteria that digest what you can't. Rushed meals, late dinners and the same few foods every day wear both down.

What we use

  • Regular meal times and slower eating
  • A calming phase, then foods brought back one at a time
  • Fermented foods Kerala already makes, like moru and pazhankanji
  • Abdominal packs and hip baths at home
  • Yoga poses that help digestion
The five elements

Nature cure, adapted for an ordinary home.

Indian nature cure is built on the pancha mahabhuta, the five elements. The Taittiriya Upanishad describes them arising in order: space, air, fire, water, earth, and from the earth, plants and food. Gandhi gave each one its own chapter in Key to Health. We use all five.

AkashaSpace

Room to digest

Longer gaps between meals, a lighter evening, and proper rest. Space gives digestion time to finish its work.

  • Spacing out meals
  • Early, light dinners
  • Supervised fasting, only if it suits you

NoteFasting isn't for everyone. Some medicines and conditions rule it out, and so does pregnancy, so we check first.

The method

Three phases, in order.

Every plan moves through the same three phases. How long each one lasts depends on you. We decide that together after the first consult.

  1. 01

    Shuddhi

    Cleansing

Take off the load first. The late dinner, the sugar in every tea, the bakery snacks, whatever your gut is reacting to. In naturopathy, digestion and elimination come first, so we get your bowels regular before anything else.

  2. 02

    Shanti

    Calm

Settle what's irritated. Simple cooked food, moru and other fermented foods, water therapy at home, breathing practice, and a proper bedtime.

  3. 03

    Pushti

    Nourishment

Rebuild. Protein and whole foods go back in, foods return one at a time, movement gets stronger, and you leave with a plan you can keep once the programme ends.

You've probably heard all three words at home. Shuddhi is purity, shanti is peace, pushti is nourishment.

Roots

Older than the word naturopathy.

The ideas behind this programme were written down in India long before anyone called them nature cure.

The yogic plate
Gheranda Samhita: fill half the stomach with food, a quarter with water, and leave a quarter empty.
Upanishadic era

Taittiriya Upanishad

Traces the five elements in order, then says that from the earth came plants, from plants came food, and from food, people. It calls food the eldest of all beings.

Measured eating, measured sleep

Yoga ends sorrow for someone who is measured in eating and rest, in work, and in sleeping and waking. Moderation, not extremes.

Mitahara, the yogic meal

The Hatha Yoga Pradipika asks yogis to eat leaving part of the stomach empty. The Gheranda Samhita spells it out: half food, a quarter water, a quarter left empty.

Gandhi's Key to Health

Written in jail, it gives a chapter each to earth, water, space, sun and air, and describes mud packs and hip baths he used himself.

Today

A recognised system

Naturopathy is one of India's recognised systems of medicine under the Ministry of AYUSH, taught as a five-and-a-half-year degree, the BNYS. Dr. Sreekavya holds one.

Research

What studies are finding.

Naturopathy is old. The research on it is new, and growing. A few findings that line up with what we do:

These are published findings, not promises about your results. Every body responds differently, and naturopathy works alongside medical care, not instead of it.

From abroad

Good food can be cooked anywhere.

You don't need special ingredients or a particular cuisine. We build the plan from what's in your local shops, wherever you live.

  • Written for your kitchen

A shared stove in a Gulf flat or a UK supermarket trolley. The plan uses what you can actually get.

  • Any time zone

Gulf, Europe, Canada or Australia. We fix call times that suit both of us.

  • Reports from anywhere

Bring what you already have, from any lab in any country.

  • For your family too

Worried about a parent in another city or country? You can enquire for them and join the calls.

What we won't do

A few promises, so you know where you stand.

  • Ask you to stop medicines your doctor prescribed. We work alongside them.
  • Sell you juice-only weeks, detox teas or crash cleanses.
  • Promise numbers or dates. Bodies don't work to a timetable.
  • Push a package you don't need.
  • Carry on if something needs a doctor first. We'll tell you, and suggest where to go.
How it runs

From first message to a plan you keep.

Usually 1 to 3 months, set after your first consult

  1. Enquire

Send a short note or a WhatsApp message. You'll hear back within one working day.

  2. First consult

One to one, online. Your history, routine, food and sleep, and any reports you already have. You'll leave knowing where we start, roughly how long it takes, and what it costs.

  3. Your plan

Week by week through Shuddhi, Shanti and Pushti, written around your kitchen and your hours.

  4. Review calls

Regular check-ins to see what's working. When something isn't, we change that one thing and leave the rest alone.

  5. Keep going

A plan to carry on with once the programme ends. Usually one to three months in all.

Questions

What people ask first.

Something else on your mind? Ask us directly. There's no such thing as a silly question here.

Will I have to stop my medicines?

No. Keep taking what your doctor prescribed. Naturopathy works alongside it, and any change to your medicines is between you and your doctor.

Is this Ayurveda?

No. It's naturopathy and yoga, a separate system recognised by India's Ministry of AYUSH. Dr. Sreekavya holds a BNYS, the degree in naturopathy and yogic sciences.

Is it only for women?

No. Periods, PCOS and perimenopause are a big part of the hormone work, but thyroid, blood sugar, digestion and sleep matter for everyone.

I live in the Gulf, or the UK. Can I still do this?

Yes. It's all online. We fix call times that suit both of us and write the plan around the food you can get where you live.

What language are the consults in?

Malayalam. If you'd rather speak in English, just ask.

How long does it take?

We set the length after your first consult, once we know what we're working with. Most plans run one to three months.

How much does it cost?

It depends on what your plan needs, so there's no fixed price on the site. You'll get a clear figure after the first consult, before you commit to anything.

Is fasting safe for me?

Not always, which is why we check first. Some medicines and conditions rule it out, and so does pregnancy. Plenty of plans use no fasting at all.

Can I book for my parents?

Yes. You can enquire on their behalf and join the calls if they'd like you there.

Start with one conversation.

Tell us what's been going on. We'll say honestly whether Reset Naturally fits, and where to begin.

You'll hear back within one working day.
