Privacy policy
This explains what NAVA collects when you use this website, why, how long we keep it, and how to ask us to delete it.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through this website, we collect the name, phone number and email address you give us, your city if you share it, the concern you select, and the message you write — which may describe your health, symptoms or history. We also record whether you ticked the consent box, and when.
To keep the form working and to stop abuse, we automatically record a one-way hashed version of the IP address you submitted from (not the address itself), your browser's user agent, and the page that sent you here.
If you sign up for new articles by email, we collect your email address, which article you signed up from, and when you ticked the consent box. We also keep a hashed IP address for the same anti-abuse reason as above.
If you register for a workshop, we collect your name, your WhatsApp number, any topics you tick, when you ticked the consent box, and the payment reference Razorpay gives us. We also note which ad or link brought you to the page. Your card, UPI or bank details go straight to Razorpay, our payment provider. We never see or store them.
Why we collect it
We use this only to read your enquiry, reply to it, and keep the record of your consent that the law requires us to hold. The hashed IP address and browser details are used only to rate-limit the form and investigate spam — nobody looks at them day to day.
Your newsletter email is used for one thing: sending you new articles from NAVA. We won't use it to market anything else to you, and we won't give it to anyone for their own use. When we start sending, an email service will deliver the emails for us and handle your address only to do that.
Workshop registrations are used to reserve your seat, add you to the workshop's WhatsApp group, send you the joining link and reminders, and handle any refund you ask for.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for 7 years from your last contact with us, then delete them. If you would like yours removed sooner, see "How to reach us about your data" below.
We keep workshop registration and payment records for 8 years, as financial records, then delete them.
We keep your newsletter email for as long as you want the articles. If you ask us to stop, we delete it. To stop them, write to info@drsreekavya.in or use the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
Who has access
Dr. Sreekavya S H reads every enquiry herself. We do not sell your information or share it with anyone else for their own marketing or business use. This website's hosting and database providers process your data on our behalf, purely to keep the site and its records running — they do not use it for anything of their own. Workshop payments are processed by Razorpay, under its own security and privacy terms.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to see, in aggregate, how many people visit and which pages they read. It sets cookies to count visits, and it does not tell us who you are. You can block these cookies in your browser settings, or turn off Google Analytics with Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Our workshop pages use the Meta Pixel, an advertising tool from Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram. It tells Meta when someone who saw our ads visits the page or registers, so we can see which ads work and show them to people with similar interests. It sets cookies, and Meta may link the visit to your Facebook or Instagram account under its own privacy policy. You can limit this in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, or by blocking third-party cookies in your browser.
Some pages show YouTube videos. Nothing from YouTube loads until you press play. The video then plays through YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and YouTube's own privacy policy applies to it.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:
- ask what personal data we hold about you and why
- ask us to correct anything that's wrong or out of date
- withdraw your consent and ask us to delete your data, at any time
- nominate someone else to exercise these rights on your behalf if you're unable to
- raise a grievance with us about how we've handled your data, and take it to the Data Protection Board of India if we don't resolve it
